Nicole Richie style essentials: the red dress

Another essential in Nicole Richie's wardrobe is the red dress.
Red is a colour associated with power, love 💓, passion, lust and, with Valentine's Day just around the corner, I tought it would be appropriate to rummage through Nicole's closet and see some of her frocks in this bold hue.

Nicole Richie style essentials: the slip dress

Nicole knows what she likes and what's flattering on her.
Miss Richie's must-have list includes: the simple white t-shirt, a cool leather jacket, a maxi skirt, oversized sunglasses, House of Harlow 1960 headpieces or animal prints.
After seeing her outfit at the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards I noticed that she also likes slip dresses.
Nicole went for a glamorous Marc Jacobs fall 2013 frock.

Nicole Richie style essentials: House of Harlow 1960 headpieces

I put together this post as a source of inspiration for a reader of my blog who wanted to see more photos of Nicole Richie wearing her gorgeous headpieces.
"I think that everybody should wear headpieces!
If you’re spending a ton of money on shoes, then you should put just as much effort into dressing up your head", Nicole told InStyle.com.
The House of Harlow 1960 headpieces that she wore on "Fashion Star" are custom made.
